A Fair, Value-Oriented Pricing Model​

At AWV Informatik, we believe pricing should be fair, transparent, and reflect the value our technology delivers. Whether you're a student, an independent developer, or a large enterprise, our solutions — including ClassCAD, Buerli, and Buerligons — are designed to scale with your needs.

💡 Non-Commercial Use (FREE)​

If you're using our solutions for educational or personal, non-commercial purposes, you can access them completely free of charge.

  • Ideal for students, educators, and researchers
  • Simply register in our user area to receive your personal AppKey
  • AppKeys are individual and must not be shared

🌐 Commercial Use WITH Distribution​

If you build your customized CAD solution in your niche that others will access, such as:

  • Web apps using WASM with origin-checking
  • Hosted services exposing ClassCAD to end users

Then you're considered a Distributor, and a distribution license is required

  • Annual subscription: CHF 5,000
  • AppKey valid for 1 year and your customers do not need an own AppKey. Your AppKey is used for starting the server.

💼 Commercial Use WITHOUT Distribution​

If you're developing applications for internal use — not distributing or exposing them to third parties — you qualify for our End-User License.

  • Annual subscription: CHF 100
  • Your personal AppKey grants you access for 1 year
  • Intended for single-user, commercial applications (e.g., internal tools)
  • This is also the annual pricing for Buerligons end-user CAD usage

🧾 Flexible, Value-Based Pricing​

We understand that every use case is different. That's why we offer flexible pricing options based on the value and reach of your solution.

Examples:

  • A startup or spin-off with limited revenue? We’re happy to discuss a lower price.
  • A large enterprise looking to brand and deploy our technology at scale? We’ll tailor the pricing accordingly — ensuring it reflects the value our solutions bring to your business.

We’ve spent 25 years in CAD integration business, customizing our ClassCAD platform for a leading global partner. Today, it powers tens of thousands of users worldwide — embedded in the tool data managment system from TDM Systems, a Sandvik company.

We’re a small, employee-owned company, focused not on venture capital returns, but on building reliable, high-quality technology. Our largest customer, TDM/Sandvik, owns 26% of AWV Informatik AG, ensuring close collaboration without compromising independence.
